Situated at the southeast corner of Glacier National Park, Glacier Park Lodge was the first hotel built by the Great Northern Railway. It's been the first stop on visitors' Glacier vacations for decades. Inside the historic hotel, Douglas Fir logs tower over the lobby, a fire crackles in the stone fireplace and guests gather to share stories of the day’s adventures. Instead of television, you’ll find beautiful mountain views and instead of air conditioning you’ll breathe fresh Montana mountain air. 2025 Dates: May 30 – September 22
In 1913, the construction of the lodge was no easy feat. The immense timbers which support the lodge were brought in by train. All in all, it took a crew of 75 men a year and a half to construct the two main buildings. Since then, thousands of guests have walked through the doors in awe of this great lodge. We look forward for many more to come!
